Tegenungan waterfall

This waterfall is flowing quite swiftly, but its amount and clarity of water depends on rainfall. Situated in highlands or mountainous territory, it offers scenic waterfall in a lush jungle setting above a shallow bathing area. People tend to have fun, bath, or simply sit relax enjoying the waterfall with ± 30 meter height. Doing a short trekking thru its Petanu river is also a great opt for you to try. The waterfall includes varying highs that can be climbed after the descent down stairs to reach it. Take your picture right near the waterfall, you’d be amazed.

Tibumana waterfall

Tibumana waterfall is in between cliffs covered by green moss, lush green jungle filled with the sweet chirping bird. Combined with its fresh and crystal clear pond right below the waterfall becomes main features of this waterfall. Not too high, just ± 15 meter, but this waterfall is a serene spot for those who want to enjoy the forest atmoshphere.

Ubud art market

The Ubud Art Market or ‘Pasar Seni Ubud’, located right in center point Ubud town, ever served as a setting for the Hollywood movie Eat Pray Love, which shows a scene where actress Julia Roberts. Here you can find beautiful silk scarves, lightweight shirts, handmade woven bags, baskets or hats; statues, kites and many other hand-crafted goods, Balinese handicrafts and souvenirs. The price is vary, ranging from thousands up to millions rupiah, and the prices are in you favor if you’re willing to barter or bargain.

Tegalalang rice field

Rice terrace panorama is well known for its irrigation system which is used for paddy fields, called Subak. Located in Ceking village, Tegalalang Gianyar, around 10 km north of Ubud with altitude 600 masl. Subak irrigation system has been enlisted as a UNESCO world heritage site.
Beside stunning scenery, you – as a visitor – can enjoy, take your times to get interact with farmers who are working there. Visitors tend wandering around the rice fields with sound of calm river flowing, is absolutely a lovely activity you can experience in there. Everywhere you turn there is something gorgeous to look at.
